300tdi EDC Iginition Barrel

Hello All, I have a Disco 1 300tdi EDC which sometimes when you turn the key it will not crank, its the last bit of the key turn is where nothing happens, all the lights go out as it is sending all power to starter as normal. Starter is good and power to everything is fine, this happens periodically, could it be the ignition barrel/switch failing? If so, is the EDC barrel the same as any other D1 300tdi Barrel?

Among other things, it is possible its a failing switch, as the fault u state is a symptom, fortunately its a replaceable item.
The barrel is identical to all 300 series discos what ever the engine which isn’t replaceable, you need a replacement lock assembly.
