300tdi Disco electrical woes

Morning all-well as I work through the electrics on my1995 Disco(after some one elso had several goes) All is going OK.A question-on the alarm unit there is a arial coax wire just coile up behind the side panel,where should this go??
Also on an unrelated note the dash is all bent up and distorted along the windscreen.Is this common and how do I fix it

the alarm aerial goes where ever you want,i routed mine up inside the door pillar trim.
dash can be common, the fix is:-

Land Rover DISCOVERY DASH LIFT REPAIR KIT 300 TDI /V8 on eBay (end time 05-Apr-10 14:50:38 BST)

T he coax outer was stripped showing around 6 inches of inner so I spose I had better insulate it!!!!

mine was the same, it's an aerial- don't think it needs insulating you need the key-fob signal to reach it

Checked the link.Looks like it does the front of the dash.Wonder if there is one for the bit over the radio and around the passanger grab rail??

only heard of the dash lifting at the windscreen, not anywhere else. you might get a full dashboard off fleebay
