I am aware there is no off the shelf part to mate the above 2, as one is metric and one is imperial.

What would i need to buy to get the 2 together ?

Im starting to think im better off just buying a 4 bolt box and not messing around :(

you would just need to have pressure pipe ,the one from pump to box made up ,the return pipe can be altered with hose and hose clips ,so both pipes for each

How much would that be? about?

The low pressure return is the same thread AFAIK so would just need the HP pipe.

I have heard Pirtek do this sort of thing? What are their rates like?

at the box end the 3 bolt differs in that it uses a olive in the bottom of both pipe holes (replaceable)and the rest dont ,do you have both sets of pipes ,would be worth nipping over and asking, the last time i did it was a few years ago now but local hyd pipe people joined the high pressure one ,and hose clipped low return hoses clips will easily hold 100 psi

I have the original disco metric pipes but not the imperial defender ones. Was recommended to pipe cut the pipes and join em together with an olive joint. But aint got imperial pipes :(

Jus got off the phone to Pirtek. They want £70 for a new HP pipe lol. Can get a 4 bolt box with drop arm for that! haha

well there you are ,some people want 3 bolt as its the strongest box ,but 4 bolts have been fine in my experience ,but new 300 pipes arent expensive if on leaks in future

I had the two pipes - took them to pirtek to be joined, but they reckoned that a compression connection was the way to go:

Well I could definately do with the strength as its going on a toy, not a daily drive.

If i can find original pipes i'll compression fit them. Some old imperial pipes gotta be cheaper than new box or new pipe.

Keep eyes peeled.

Thanks for the pic Beneagles... now to get the pipe!!
