Hi all,
I've just finished retreiving the bits out of the back axle on my 300 V8 and I have a Defender rear diff to replace - ideal I hear you say but obviously mine has a rubber doughnuts on the prop and the rear diff has a different length output flange to the defender/200 Disco one I'm putting in. I pland to put the 200/Defender diff in with the 200 prop (UJ type) at the weekend. Does the LT gearbox of the 200 sit the same lengh as the R380? Will I have any probs by changing? By the way, the Diff is a 24 spline that I'm replacing it with so no probs there.
