definitely see them going for around 400 quid on the bay would have it off you if A had not spent nearly 800 quid on the car and B wifes just bought another parrot
Went to look at it last week before it was taken out of Disco 'R' reg and it sounded ok with no smoke, crisp enough and old looking anti freeze in header tank, no leaks. Looked tidy enough, been shunted up the back and the chassis had caved in, wonder why
Just bought it, not selling
That's all the savings blown and me not fit to do the engine swap never mind pick it up
I'll get me brother to pick it up and I can get going on swap in a few weeks, bye bye wheezing 2.5n/a

Sounds good price so far, nearing timing belt change time, but if its out the car then even easier, know then that its good for another 50-60K
Will do timing belt, 'P' gasket and new clutch and h/duty arm before I put it in, change oils and stuff so it's good for many miles, might even keep it if it turns out ok, be a lovely 90

the 300 tdi is a good lump nowt wrong with mine just valve seals are fooked,they hit about 80 flat out but have loads of low down grunt
Just wondering whether to risk the 172k 1.4 transfer box out of my 90 or just put the disco one in without splitting it. Mines a bit clunky but the low gearing is excellent for towing

maybe give the transfer box an overhaul when you put the engine in ?
Might have a go at that if I get the time
