I have a 300 TDI in my D90, the motor came out of a Disco (the D90 previously had a TD5 motor).

On a cold start, when the temp drops below 10 degrees C, the Defender starts and seems to idle fine, but even after left to warm up for an extended period of time, it has almost no power when you go to drive. If I drive for 15 - 20 min, and get some real heat in the motor, things get back to normal and everything seems fine.

I've gone through the fuel system, new filter, cleaned the lines, had the pump inspected and cleaned, injectors and glow plugs have been removed and bench tested.

HELP!
