Hi all,

got a 300tdi, with a de-cat pipe, 1 box system and egr blanked off, is there anything else i can do to improve power/perfrmance?

I have increased the fuelling a bit on the pump adjuster as well, can i up the boost? Or what else can i do?

I Craig,

This has to be one of the more popular subjects on this forum. If you use the Landy Zone forum search function using the title of this thread, then you should find lots of relevent info.

Just a few quick and cheap ones to get you started;

clean out you intercooler and rad
blank off the EGR
make sure your calipers aren't sticking
clean out the sediment filter
replace your intercooler pipes with silicone ones
fit new air filter and fuel filter
grease your prop UJ's
fresh oil in your gearbox, transfer box and diffs.

Hello Craig,

If you have increased the fuelling, you should increase the air by replacing the intercooler with a bigger and more efficient one. You should see a power increase by doing this. A K&N air filter also adds to the power gain a small fraction.

i'm currently waiting for my intercooler before i increase fuelling, after that i dont think there is much else left to do the gains that should make are pretty massive not many other cars you can knock 5 sec off the 0-60 time :)

My astra van is running 60bhp over standard 150bhp to 210bhp but it still only knocked the 0-60 time by 3sec from 9.3 to 6.3 you should be happy when you get an intercooler :D
