im a bit confused, im looking at buying a 300tdi on an r380 gearbox...
problems are:
1.blown head gasket(not actualy gone but it runs hot and has the symptoms etc) is it worth repairing it, ive been told its likely to be the bores (which is a ****ed engine...)
2. no transfer box (not a huge issue, got a defender r380 one in the shed...)
3. will a disco r380 fit in my 87" rangy chassis, i hear i would need a defender box (true or not? would my defender t-box amend that?)
at £100 its tempting but is it worth it and will it fit!?!?!
