I wouldn't bother no, if you use a small ratchet (I happen to use my 1/4 inch drive) tighten it up till you are just sort of nudging it up gently. That is a ridiculous comment as what does that actually mean... but I think you get what I mean.

10Nm works out to be about a one finger tight pull on a small ratchet. You sort of get to know what is what when you've worked with torqued nuts and bolts.

Thank you! Rocker cover done, cleaned up all the oil I could see and will keep an eye on it until the weekend, wasn't brave enough to do the manifold tonight, will do that on the weekend when I do all the filters.

manifold isnt difficult you loosen 2x 13mm nuts on lower side of inlet manifold ,manifold has slotted holes there so no need to remove fully,remove top 2 x 10mm headed bolts,undo hose clip and pull hose off pull inlet out of the way ,you can then undo all the 15mm nuts holding exhaust manifold on, it will pull away far enough to change the gasket whilst still fastened to down pipe

perfect, I'll get it done tomorrow. Got plenty to do this weekend, the rear is full of bits i've had delivered over the last 2 days haha.

Feeling pretty proud of myself, even though it's such a tiny easy job. Rocker cover has dried up that leak entirely, done the manifold aswell for belt and braces. I'll have to waxy the chassis now, no self preservation from the 90. Onto the next job.
