 Any ideas please!
My 94 300 tdi non edc judders and shakes from 1500 rpm-to 3000 rpm when acelerating hard. I've cleaned sedimenter with new seals, new fuel filter, new air filter, injecters taken out cleaned checked and re-fitted,new fuel lift pump fitted. Turbo seems to kick in ok,cam belt changed 1000 miles ago but problem only just started to happen.
have been told it could be the doughnut on the rear prop shaft?

Running out of ideas now so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks.

You can easily inspect the doughnut yourself, it should look like a solid piece of rubber with no cracks or breaks. If it looks old and suspicious then its about £30 for a new one and about half an hour to change it if you don't need to change the center bush (Which I didn't)

All's good, changed the uj, refitted the prop shaft and gave it an oil change while i was about it, and with everything else i've done it goes like a dream now! ( well probably not as good as a td5, but not too bad at all !) :5bparty:

Big thanks for everyones input i would have been clueless without you.:5bcheers2:

Thanks everybody I'll now try the propshafts! (I was going to pull the injectors)

The Disco is rather old and had a leaking diff pan but I needed it to do some towing. The quick fix was to pump in a cartridge of EP grease followed by a quart of EP90 oil. Hopefully the grease would fill the porosity in the diff pan and it does seem to have worked! The other big problem is that the gears are in the box but one needs to be a magician to find them :-( Anyone who can drive that truck should be able to drive anything!

Its the old story of nobody ever sells a GOOD 4x4
