Happy New Year all:)

Am about to embark upon a gearbox swap out.

Obviously will do the clutch and HD Fork while I'm at it and replacee the front and rear oil seal and gasket

Anything else I should be replacing whilst I'm at it? Specifcally are there any oil seals at the back of the engine worth doing whilst the clutch is off?

Had a search but only found reference to the front and rear oil seals and spigot bush:confused:

Oh, and the only clutch fork I can find (FTC2957HD) is Britpart branded - presume their supplier can weld:eek:

Just fitted the HD arm kit to my Defender along with the clutch. The arm and welding looked fine to me. If you get the kit it comes with the clips and pivot pads etc. Think it also came with a new spigot bush too.

Yes I did get the STC 8358

;) you pay your money and take your choice, but its a lot of work to re-do for a cheaper clutch.

Not sure if its in the kit, but the spigot bearing in the end of the crank is worth doing while its apart. Especially if the gearbox is out the way.
