Hi, I am after some advice, I have owned a 300tdi discovery for the last 2 years with no major problems only general wear and tear but cant really afford to run it anymore getting not many mpg...was thinking of getting a freelander td4 es diesel but have heard lots of bad reviews, just wanted some opinions please. i wud stick to the Disco, more room, less problematical and, prospectively, 7 seats if yu need em. If it owes yu nowt, then run it into the ground. A TD4 is likely to cost you more, if you only do low mileage.
