First off, are you sure that you do have the fault that can be sorted by the "SVS mod"?
Next do you have a code reader capable of clearing the logged historic faults?
The problem with the SVS mod is that it's unofficial and as such, many garages will refuse to do; liability insurance and so on.
The official way to clear the fault is to replace the ABS modulator, but ask you bank manager if you can do it first!
Actually it is quite easy to do yourself, especially if you follow exactly the instructions you'll find on the web. I've attached the most useful set of instructions found on the web:-
