Hi there!
I’m looking for help again! A while ago I had a random 3 amigos on my dashboard but went away when I putted my key to stand 1 and back to stand 2. Since then I had a couple more 3 amigos but always went away. Then the 3 amigos stayed away for quite a while but my car started to make 3 random beeps during driving at random moments. No faults on dashboard but my radio stopped and it said ‘land rover’ and then automatically the radio started working again. This happened for 30 times I guess so I went to read out my codes. In the slabs ecu I got ‘shuttle valve switch electrical fail’. I cleared the code and it happend more and more.
Now there are 2 orange icons on the dashboard that lit on randomly, the icon with the arrow up on the back and the icon with the two arrows facing each other. They come and go away randomly. Today I was driving home and all of the sudden every light on the dashboard showed and the car had no power for a couple seconds. It went away from its self and the car drove fine again. Now I tried to read my codes again with the nanocom but i just couldn’t get into the slabs ecu. It always said ‘communication error 1’ and then ‘unable to start communication with ecu…’ in the engine faults it gave the fault ‘road speed missing’

I’m planning on going on a vacation with the disco and my caravan over 2 weeks but don’t want to get in trouble because of this so does someone please know what to do?

Its a discovery 2 2003

Thanks in advance! Good weekend!

Greetings Manu.

Hi, first of all check the main earth lead and the clamps on the battery to be tight. what you describe seems very like a bad contact somewhere, can be corrosion in the interior fusebox too, hard to guess just like that, the only clear thing is the SVS fault which is common and easy to fix with the wiring mod
