I thought that, may be 13CU, but to be honest mate, any help is help! Its an emotional rollercoaster! Ive gone from getting rid of it to living with it and back!!! Even worse on Friday I was nattering to my MOT ttester about his thoughts (would he fail it!) on a stainless cat back straight through exhaust.....he said oooo that will sound awesome! so she's staying, I will sort this out, dunno how but I will........with the help of landyzone!!

it will either be 14 cu or 14 cux , have you got a cold start injector in the side of the plenum or a stepper motor? that will tell us

oh, I know mine is a 14CUX I was refering to wether that document was for the 13cu or 14cu. sorry. Yeah 14CUX in my baby, stepper an all!!!

then that document is not for you lol

if you ever figure this out let us know cos its happened to a few peeps.

my mate gave up and just adjusted the stop on the throttle cable in the end lol

Exactly as I have done!!! I might just give up trying to figure it out and get on with the build/bolt on stuff, then get it covered in mud!!

Hey sorry, I think it's already been mentioned but I can't find the result... have you tried checking the Lambdas AND the wiring too the lambdas? I had a similar problem and that's what it turned out to be, a bad wire on one of the lambdas...

It would make sense being that it only happens when it warms up (right?)

Sorry if you already tested this

well I have run it using ECUmate, it shows no fault codes and live lambda stuff, i.e rich, lean and ok.(i get ok at idle on warm too ) but when I get her back I'll try the lambda route and see what difference it makes. I know I tried disconnecting em but cant remember the result, it was ages ago!! but its an expensive part to change if it was already working. Is there a cheap test ie resistor short or something cos I tried that for the manual gearbox/ecu signal.

i suppose the tune resistor for non cats would cause the ecu to ignore the lambdas, would that be right? and of course maybe the emissions / MOT might fail though. so i could get the green tune resistor.......
