Ok... this is pretty funny. So it took me some time to get the exhaust manifold off as I had to strip some of the buggy panels off to get access to wriggle it out. Cylinder 2 & 4 gaskets were carboned up in a specific area. I took a picture of number 4

On inspection of the bolts on cylinder 2 & 4, they were about 5mm longer than the rest. I reassembled everything as the gaskets looked relatively new and noticed when nipping up the bolts, although they were tight up, you could move the washer with your finger . I swapped them out for some the correct length and reassembled.

Everything's running ok now and the bangs have gone. All I can hear is rough bearings in the tension pully (I think) and the induction air sucking in.

On to the TPS. I reconnected and took measurements with just the ignition on. Does this work or does the enginen need to run? Anyway It was way off but seemed smooth and not notchy

I started the engine and my measurement are jumping all over the shop! Not sure if it's my meter so will check with another tomorrow.

This all being said, the throttle hesitation has disappeared or massively improved. So It may have been related to the manifold or maybe a dodgy connection that I've inadvertently fixed?

I'll post up a video of it running tomorrow...
