Good morning.
1st time forum writer!!
Just purchased a 3.6 V8 Vogue on a 58 plate 129000 miles and has been driving perfectly. I had an alternator fitted last week and a new battery and although I'm sure fault is not connected, I had a random "Engine system fault" message come up on the dash this morning and car went into limp mode. Switched engine off, restarted and all seems fine... Does this sound common among you fellow Rangey lovers/haters??!! If so, any ideas??

Hello and welcome.

Nice car.

Got any pictures?

Pop in the Range Rover section for technical assistance.

How do you feel about boats?

Welcome Aboard. :)

Just to point out, "Vogue" is a trim level, not a model.........:p

As to your electrical "issues" - LR's modern "stuff" is hypersensitive to battery voltage, and even battery type on occasion - we'd need to know the MODEL, before offering advice.....

And, if you haven't already, get your own proper diagnostics - you'll be needing them :(

Good Luck with "it" anorl - you'll be needing that too :D:D

;)

Hasn’t done it since, but we are doing a long journey next week and I’m a bit concerned it may let me down.
