Yeah, now it came to it... My 1982 RRC has, maybe, to go. Reasons are mainly fuel consumption and being profoundly unsuited for longer camping trips with the family. There is a lot of history and pics of the car on the forum already, so I'll make it quick and short:
No rust, all critical spots are rust free now. The body and chassis have been treated with some, back then legal, protective stuff. Engine is running smoothly, only the gearbox maybe up for a revision sooner or later. She off-roaded a bit, buy nothing extreme. She does need a new exhaust, if you ask me so.
Of the original bits and pieces, only the carpets and the parcel shelf / spare wheel cover are missing.
The car is based in Germany, I am no hurry to sell so. It's just the car was never planned to be a "weekender", and longer trips are just prohibitively expensive. And a family of four just to big for longer trips. Initially I paid 8.5k Euros for her, in total parts and stuff probably, I refused to count early on, add up for another 4-5k. She has 78,000 km on the clock, received a new counter at 70,000ish that had 45,000 on it. Cam shaft was changed was already. I have workshop invoices back to the 90s, and she passed the German TÜV every time with any problems. TÜV is valid until July 2021, it will most likely be renewed. And she has a historical status over here.
