Right then a bit more

The ferkin thing still won't rev up :(

Even tried it with the inline fuel pump back in and running both pumps at one point and still no revving:(

After running through the test procedure again! I found that I'm getting extremely high resistance at the AFM. In the K OHMS not OHMS  So most likely think the MAF is buggered.

Soooo my plan from this point is to fit the hotwire system and get it running from a 3.9 I started to rebuild that never was finished (only got as far as sorting the block) so the inlet manifold and plenum will be fitted.

Ordered new valley gasket and rocker gaskets this afternoon and will pick them up tomorrow.

Will then do some very delicate cleaning to get the crap that dropped into the valley and can then think about starting to put the new gaskets on and then nice shiny intake/plenum :D

Watch out with that stuff! It only takes one tiny particle to drop through into the oil, then get flung up or used to scrape the side of the bore! Oops, you've got a lovely grove in the bore of a cylinder, time for a rebore! :(

Are you sure none has gotten in where you can't get to already?

Well so far I've spent 2 hours picking little bits out with a torch and tweezers

As for if it's in the oil. I may drop it to be on the safe side and refill as i have another 7 litres of oil sat in the garage. :)
