285x75x16 tyres

just a quick question to anyone that may have done this before, can i fit 285x75x16 tyres onto a standard height 110 Hi Cap, cheers

No. They won't.

Yep you can. Got 285/75/R16 on my 110

I needed to lift my 90 and trip my arches a little

It also depends on the wheel offset,on my wheels which have a 10 mm offset they rubbed on the arches until I had a suspension lift. On standard boosts with a 33 mm offset I has to adjust the steering stops out and the turning circle was appalling

I had to fit a 2inch lift and trim the arches a bit, but my old springs were pretty worn anyway so that wouldn't have helped.

My new springs lifted my 110 an inch or so, seeing as the old ones were worn.

Read the question as asked He never asked if they would rub on anything so they will fit

Had them on a standard height 90 with standard wheel offset. Turning circle was crap and extended bump stops needed to stop the rear wheels jamming up on the tub when articulated. Better with a lift and offset rims. If you are looking for height, 255/85 are the same as 285 but thinner so slightly better turning circle.
