Hi

New to the site today!:)

Just put some nice phat Insa's on my disco, which is lifted 2" and an a bit of a work in progress insofar as more to add!

Looks great if I say so myself, some expected snagging on front bumperettes. Done a minimum cut on the rear arches, but do need some advice on a proper camel cut if anyone can help, warts and all, pics guide if poss.

I am thinking about knocking up some brackets and trying to push the wing out fixing this off the mud flap bracket, has anyone tried this? I am best just sticking to the tried and tested camel cut?

Oh, I am fitting new bump stops over the weekend and will sort the steering stops too, so the other rubbing should be eliminated too.

Thanks

Andy

Search this forum, theres loads of posts, and some with piccy's

and welcome to the zone -

for future bear in mind the landyzone rules

1/ search
2/ search

if rule one doesn't come up with what you want refer to rule 2

only then ask a question

The general idea is you slice off some bodywork so the tyres will go on. Then you drive it and see where they hit the bodywork. Then you slice some more off. It's a tried and trusted process.

Sorry Elmer_D, was sooooo keen to post:doh: Hope I have not offended you by not searching, can you forgive me?....oh, thanks for the welcome!

Hughesy, thanks, had another little cut & trim today & will take your advice

My old disco had a camel cut done and then flexi black wheel arches... worked well, but the tyres still rubbed on full articulation and I had a 2" lift...

You just reminded me of something else people on here don't usually get offended, or you have to really try to push their buttons. just remember that some come on just to stir

Don't worry about it, you'll soon get the idea, lots of good advice and laughs if read the posts

Have fun :welcome2:
