265/70R18 Tyre Help

Hi there,

I have read a lot of forum posts saying that 265/75R16 os the biggest tyre size that you can fit to a standard Defender 90. These give an overall diameter of 80.39cm in theory but I haven't found any posts on 18" wheels and tyres. Will 265/70R18 fit without modification they have a diameter of 82.82cm?

I guess what I am trying to say is will the extra 2 and a bit cm make a major difference as to whether or not these will fit to a standard 90?

yeh, the 265/70/18 will fit there about 32.5 inch diameter

Won't go on your 16 inch rims though.

I run 285/75 r16 on my 110 with no problems, just had to adjust the lock stops. It hasn't been lifted yet and the wheels are 8 inch mods.
