hey guys,

just a quick one from me,

To get the s111 running properly i need a 24v distributor, I had a 'LR specialist' look at it and he said that i needed the full thing. Problem was, i had no money at the time.

So do i need to get HT leads and Distributor cap, rotor arm? or will it be one over the other?

Cheers fellas

it would mechanically but little points etc wouldnt last long

Why? Twice the voltage, half the current, points should last longer. I thought the expensive bit about the 24v ignition system was the shielding 'cos most 24 volters were FFR.

interesting, it is an FFR, but the guy never mentioned anyting, he just said that i might want to do a full 24v - 12v conversion.

So would a 12v dissy work?
