Hi!

after some advice please, we have a 24v 109 in superb condition (8000 miles from new ) this is all great except... last week in traffic she died, same symptoms as if it was flooded, so with that all sorted we carried on using it until tonight, we had loaded up the trialer ready for tomorrow then after we had driven up the drive (around 1/4 mile) we stopped to pick up some spares and when we tried to restart her there was nothing. nothing whatsoever. we checked for a spark, none. unfortunatly neithrer me or my old man know anything aboout 24v landies, has anyone got an idea whats happened?:eek:

cheers

may i ask how did you check for a spark if it is a 24 volt with the crappy 24 volt plugs, my awnser is to take the dizzy cap off and have a good look inside or check you have voltage at the regulator box next to the coil its quite normal for the connections on that to corrode and cause a problem what you are looking for is a white and yellow wire quite thin with a push on connector it should have a clear rubber sleeve moisture gets in the sleeve and it corrodes do you have a spare coil by any chance ??
