An intro from me: I own a lovely 2015 defender 110 bought from Inchcape. A lovely cr and seems ot have been a good investment - 4 years free driving so far. It recent became less stress free, Inchacape kindly did some waranteed rust work and the problems started. The car is overheating and coolant is going down fast. AA saw no sign of a leak so suggested that either the cylinder gasket has gone or water leaking through the water cooled EGR valve. This issue only arises on long distances and when the engine is under strain (fully loaded with kids and dogs). Inchcape (useless and cleared the car as being "OK") have also indicated that there are no issues (leaks) in the coolant circuit,

Once the engine does over heat, (it took from Guildford to 30 miles East of Exeter today to do so), the water then escapes at a frightening rate.

Any thoughts or helped welcomed. I now have the challenge of getting the car 250 miles back to guildford, £££ unfortunately. I might get it fixed in the West country. Names of trustworthy Defender specialist also welcomed.
