2014 freelander 2 (L359) catalytic converter removal

Hi all,

I need a bit of advice.

I have a 2014 freelander 2 (L359) that is leaking exhaust fumes near the catalytic converter.

I have had the car up on ramps but I can’t see how to access the converter.

Do I have to remove the wheels or can I remove the stiffener bar to gain access?

The cats are under the middle of the vehicle, right behind the engine, so removing the wheels won't help.
Really a full lift is needed, as the exhaust system is massive and very difficult to maneuver out from underneath without a lot of space below. On this vehicle, I'd take it to somewhere suitably equipped for the job.

I thought that I would have been able to tackle the job myself but on reflection it's probably best to leave it into the local garage.
