Hi everyone,
I got muddy water in my diesel tank last weekend. I have cleaned the tank and pipes and changed the filter. There is lots of deisel coming out of the injector return pipes but it won't go. Can i clean the injectors somehow to make sure they are not blocked or could there be something else amiss ? The engine fire's ok with brake cleaner so i think that it's ok.
Cheers nick

to clean them you need to remove them and see a specialist to get them checked, the fact that it fires on brake cleaner does point to injectors. good luck

It was happily ticking over for about 10 minutes, then the water must have separated from the diesel and it blew out a load of white smoke and died. Can't belive we've got a foot of snow and no landy !

The water made it through the injectors, if this was then left in there for a while, there is a possibility that they have rusted a bit causing them to fail.
