anyone had any luck stopping the drivers wingmirror from vibrating so much that it's impossible to see anything but a blur with it. I have tried a replacement one from someone on here but that was better condition but still vibrates. it seems to be the plastic 'rivits' wear loose and allow the folding joint to move. I have tried re-melting them to hold it tight but then once it's cooled it carries on showing me nothing but a blur

I had the same problem with my old 200, I bought some 300 mirrors off eBay & fitted them on . Easy job to do
was thinking of doing that but can it be done so the electricery still works? all the pics Ive seen of the 300's are different plugs to the 200. I'm ok at changing the plug that's not an issue but would need to know what wires to connect together if it is possible

Not sure , I clipped the wires & moved them manually into place.
I have done that before on other cars but my truck gets used for towing and I tend to adjust them slightly higher to see traffic alongside on main roads then down a bit to see the wheels/tail of the trailer so the electricery really helps with the small mirrors
