 Hi, starter problems, when I try and start the engine I just hear clicking from the starter, battery is fully charged, and have also tried jumping it from an other vehicle to eliminate the battery, so I was just wondering if the starter could be repaired or is it a replacement part that I need, car will start with a push down a hill, cheers in advance.

Your starter needs repaired/cleaned up, it may be that you can simply take it apart and clean it all up, but it sounds like the soleniod is not quite making contact, could be rods are fried a bit and too short for contact to be made. However check all your electical connections first, check the battery connections are solid and CLEAN looking - check the earth straps also, if need be take them off, file all the contact surfaces a bit, especially the chassis/gearbox earth straps.

If it is the starter you should be able to do it yourself fairly easily, or you could take it off and take it to a auto electrician who would rebuild it for about £50/60 if your lucky. This should be an easy fix.
