200tdi rad and i/cooler

Right before anyone moans about me not searching for this but i have and had no luck so there

I've got an ex-mod 90 2.5na with big rad and oil cooler in front of the rad. I also have a 200tdi from a disco that was a bargain but has no rad or intercooler. This is my question, as the td5 seems to have a bigger intercooler than the 200tdi is it worth fitting the rad/cooler combo from this rather than getting the 200tdi set up with the little one? Has anyone done it or know anyone who has tried? (ok so it was two questions)

i would stick with 200 tdi one the one out of disco can be modded easily to fit ,your going to have more power than your used to

I guess so but I know i'll get bored with that power and i ride a big bike so i do likes power and as they say 'too much is never enough'. I supposethe 200tdi willbe cheaper than the td5 though as well?

Cheers Boris, I'm always astounded how negative people seem to be. I'll see what i can get. I guess that the 200tdi one will be cheaper and less hassle so i'll probs go that way.

i hope i wasnt been negative but i would fit original to start with and adjust pump on diaphragm as is clerly shown in a few threads better than i could explain and adjust waste gate acuator rod as short as possible and fit straight thru exhaust

no worries james, i'll give that a go first

I'm gonna go for a nice straight thru cos it'll run better. My current exhaust has a fallen off back box and seems to be going better
