MY Defender 200tdi has a few oil leaks that i'm trying to work my way through
I found yet another one!
Looks like it coming from the bottom of the turbo, well more from the fitting that bolts to it (see pic)
the oil return pipe.

Does anyone know if the end that fits into the turbo has a gasket or not?

Oh and my defender has a 200tdi defender engine with a discovery turbo and manifold

Mine has, but it looks like this. (300Tdi engine and turbo)

There was a gasket set in with the turbo from Recoturbo and there was a new one in there.
The one you have in the picture looks like it fits on to tapers?
 
The britpart one won't have a gasket, take it off, clean up all the unions then nip it back up. That's if it is leaking from one of the unuions.
 
Non if mine ever had a gasket there. Make sure it's tight. Ive had a leak from the turbo oil feed through a slight hole in the braiding but never from the nut itself
