Hello Everyone,
This is my first post on LandyZone, so be kind
.
Little introduction, my name is John and this is now my new (1986) defender 90.
Today I inspected the engine and drivetrain and I noticed what looks like a missing bolt on the lower front portion of the engine this is directly in front of the sump behind the auxiliary belt ( if that makes sense)(top left of picture is fwd, the picture taken under the car) . Maybe a drain plug of some kind. Does anyone know what is meant to go there and where I can get one?
Additionally I imagine that with this component missing road grime and water can get into where its not meant to, is there any checks/follow-up I need to do to ensure all is good internally.
Kind regards,
John
