hi there need a 200tdi for a series, doesnt really matter what condition, just running :) based in the midlands.

erm well iv just spent 600 quid getting it on the road, and im 17 and have a small budget, ! around 300 ? 350 ? why whats your thoughts ?

yes but from what i have seen they are all buy it now 500, i really dont want to pay 500 ! im having to pay 220 a month insurance ! thats why i say a half decent engine not a spanker !

either dont mind ! just something that starts :) btw i have a 19j with a good turbo , garret one could i transfer maybe ?

Got a Disco one without turbo - was intending putting into a series 2, but that fell through...been sitting a while. Distance may be a problem... but if you don't get anything closer to home, give me a shout....

ok appreciate that beneagles, discowayne where abouts is he based ? and i already have intercooler and rad could he do 340 without those ?

I just got a quote for £746 fully comp on a series, thats definitely not the going rate atm

Thats way OTT as my gf is getting quotes of less than half that price for a series, I know womens insurance is cheaper but its not that much cheaper…..your engine transplant will make it go up too

Had it up for 400 incl. all ancillaries - i need to check with a local chap who was looking for a disco engine for a conversion if he's sorted or not - will let you know

right is that with rad etc ? i dont need rad or inter cooler,

who did you get the quote with mate, yes mine is fully comp with nfu, insured to drive any car

Flux direct, you the only driver on the policy ?

I was with NFU a while back as a named driver £750 FC on a disco and I was 18 then, moved to Admiral last year (19) £1200 FC with mods 8000 miles a year
