200tdi insurance?

Hi,

Does anybody know if putting a 200tdi into a series 3 88" will make any difference to my insurance ( i'm 17). I know that it is a group 2 car at the moment.

It will go from a lot of money to insure to a ****ing hell of a lot of money to insure. That's if you can find anyone willing to cover you.

It most certainly will - I put a tdi into a Defender and my insurers wouldn't cover me. Eventually went to Adrian Flux who covered me - but my premium doubled.

i too am almost 17 and lookin for a series Landy, the 200tdi is classed as a modification and all mods put insurance up a lot!!!!

contact adrian flux for a quote they just gave me a quote of £749.16 for a series 3 with 200tdi conversion. just need to buy it now.
