Set off from a mates place to home, started up fine there, since getting home went to swap the cars around on the drive and the Landy isn't even ticking over. The fan spins up on the radiator when you take the ignition to stage 2 but nothing at all when you try and turn the engine over.

Had a look in the cubby fuse box but can't find any fuse in there that looks to be for the ignition.

Supplied a link of a video of whats happening.

Any help guys? :)

If you can't see a fuse or anything obvious, like disconnected wires/earths or corroded terms, then I'd try sticking a live to the starter and see if that gets it going. If so, then you know it's the wiring between the starter and ign switch/relay or whatever.

check the engine earth often down near the bell housing (could be anywere on the engine block) i would do this by putting a earth between the body and engine and try !
if this fails try relay and the other thing to get it going is big screw driver in starter solinoid (might spark abit) but will turn it over and start it

Same thing - starter is earthed through the engine. To confirm use a booster cable from battery NEGATIVE to engine block. Dont connect the battery positive to the engine or you'll have a bonfire.

Haha will try that later, thanks for the advice!

Tried hooking the negative battery to the engine block and still no luck unfortunately. I did have a friend earlier in the day who tried to turn the engine off and twisted the ignition on briefly while the engine was running and it would seem quite a coincidence that it should suddenly die like that. I did start it a couple times after that however and it started up perfectly fine with no strange noises or struggling.

Any other ideas?

Oh, also I have tested the battery and it checks out fine. All other electronics in the car are also all fine.

Did you do the solenoid or live on starter yet?

I haven't checked them yet, I am quite the newbie when it comes to mechanics. It's a disco engine, I have found the starter mirror beneath and whine the turbo, I am guessing I have to disconnect the battery and remove the motor to check the solenoid?

How would I do the other? Connect a live cable from my battery positive to the starter motor? Where all the wires connect to it?

Sometimes its the simplest things... Had a poke around at the wires, turns out the thin yellow one that sits on that prong had come loose. Put it back on and it works fine. Must of shook loose between it shaking when the ignition was turned on as it was running and the drive home.

Oh well... Least that was a cheap job! Couldn't be bothered paying more out on it after just getting the front axle rebuilt and having a disco transmission put on too!

Ah so the very first thing mentioned then

Least it's sorted ;)

Yeah, to be fair though I didn't know that wire was there, the brunt of the unit is hidden by the turbo, it was only from the picture that was linked earlier when I saw that one too! But yeah, least it's sorted! :)
