is it not just passing crankcase gas to burn in engine?

As yours is a DI its fine, if you piped a tdi up the same you would be pushing pressurised manifold (up to 1 bar pressure) air into the engine crankcase via the cyclone breather, at best a few blown seals, not actually sure what the worst would be, but I reckon it would be interesting!
Basically the turbo would be pressurising the crankcase.
