200tdi broken cambelt

So the cambelt let go on mine today, replacing it isn't an issue, however it has bent 5 of the pushrods in the process.
All bar no1 exhaust pushrods have come out, that ones stuck fast, it'll lift 20mm or so but won't come out.
I haven't removed the timing chest yet so have no access to the cam yet.
Is there any tricks to removing them without taking the head off? I only did the head gasket 2 weeks ago!

And before anyone says, yes I should have done the cambelt, but in my defence it looked fine, no abnormal or excessive wear.
It was the next job on the list!
 
head will need to come off if push rods have damaged cam followers ,you will see if you use a torch and check cups rods sit in ,though with no1 ex you would be lucky if its ok
