200tdi back plate on a 300 tdi.

Hello I'm sure you've answered this a few times before but I can't find the answer anywhere. I have a 200tdi 90 manual and a 300tdi edc disco automatic. I want to know if I can put the auto box out of the 300tdi on the 200tdi engine if I buy a 200tdi auto back plate? I would put the 300tdi lump and auto box in but as it's an edc model the electrics put me off. Thanks for your help.

you can replace edc with manual injection pump

Hello thanks for the reply. I thought you could but the cost of a pump and injectors is a no go at the minute. I'm having to sell the freelander to pay for the defender and she's not happy!

youd only need pump, id imagine the box would bolt up to 200 back plate but its a long time since i built either 200 or 300 auto box to be certain

I thought the injectors worked at different pressures?
So would my 200tdi pump fit the 300tdi engine?
