200TDi Air Filter Box

Hello,

does any body have a picture of a 200TDi air filter box please? Even better if it's in position under your bonnet! I've just sourced one on ebay and I'd like to see how they're mounted, and what they look like, so that I know I've got the proper 200 jobby.

I have my install under the hood of course attach to the engine, but it's a LHD 1993 Defender 200TDi, would it work for you? if it does I'll take and send photos tomorrow monday

200 tdi defender engine or 200tdi disco engine? what do you have in yours?

Beneagles.. thats exactly where I want to put mine..

is that a 200 tdi disco airbox you have there? with the side exit?
do you have the flexi routed from over the wheel arch/back of headlamp, to the side vent?

do you have anymore pics of the pipe routing? and where did you get your flexi from?

I knew I could rely on you Buster Thanks a bunch. I'll be fitting it around that location I assume. I don't know whether or not it's coming with the mounting straps though

That's the perfect mounting point (in the first picture) for my setup. That looks to me like Patman's setup, is that right? I recognise the purple brackets I think that's where I'll put it, slap bang on the inside of the wing.

I have the disco 200tdi in my 90 and I've also ordered the disco 200 tdi air box (according to ebay anyway). If you're looking for flexi pipe, try here:

Could well be Patman's....His set-up uses the disco PAS reservoir, and he moved the washer bottle. I kept washer in situ, and used the TD PAS setup

And that's a Disco 200tdi and Disco airbox in a 90.

(first pic) I cut away a bit of the intake pipe on the air box to allow clearance for the flexi pipe to come up around into it. It's the original Defender flexi coming from the intake side vent with the end stuffed up in to the airbox.

I made the brackets from some odd bits I had in the shed, once bent into shape and painted they don't look too bad.
