Reasons for picking the Tseries over rover v-8, Zetec, Mazda etc

Its simple and not all that logical. The T series is basically the child of the original B series engine. It seems the most right way to give an MG 200 bhp. Whats more the LT77 and R380 are well documented alternative transmisions for the B. I also will need to make minimal alterations to the engine bay as they share the same brackets and have very similar dimensions. The engine also ways the same so the handling will remain as characterful as ever.

Anyways my plans have now changed. I plan in sticking the Vitesse lump in the front which is the T-16 turbo block. I still need a Disco 200 MPI inlet manifold though as it faces the throttle bodies in the right direct for RWD applications.

Any help in sourcing one would be nost appreciated.

I expect this will take some time for me to complete but i will link on here to my build diary once i get under way.
