Basically, my Freelander has the older pre-2013 Alpine system with a sat nav screen, and the audio unit underneath, as shown here.
This has Bluetooth for Handsfree calls, but not for music streaming. It has an aux input for music, but with that you can’t use the ‘next’ and ‘previous’ controls on the wheel, and have to use your phone.
Ideally, what i’d like to do is replace the lower unit with one that has Bluetooth streaming that could be operated by the steering wheel controls, but would also still work with the original Sat Nav screen. Anyone know if this is possible?
