Hi Guys n Gals , I'm a newbie on here & need some help from you lovely people. I've been retired for 3 years from the commercial vehicle industry & now living the good life in the middle of the cabbage fields in Lincolnshire . Just bought my wife a 2008 Freelander 2 with 100k miles . My issue is with the central locking programming . I know you can program many features on the newer Freelanders but how do you change the programming for the central locking on the earlier models ? My issue is 1 press on the key fob unlocks the drivers door . 2 presses & the windows all go down & 3 presses unlocks the passenger doors . 2 presses in quick succession make no difference & still only unlocks the drivers door . I seem to remember years ago this was adopted to combat hijacking cars . Can anyone shed any light on how to reprogram this please ?
