HI to all.
this is my second L322, the first was the td6.
my recent one{since November} has developed a new problem although mechanically runs fine.
the vdu display shows no life.
a list of my efforts are as follows.....
if i disconnect the battery (new Varta in February) and reconnect, the head unit comes on then off again.
there is no fibre optic signal in boot at amps etc.
if i manually close R1( swapped to check) the system boots up , opticals come on but no touch or button control at head unit.
whilst engine running i disconnected the battery to see if it had any effect but no change.
im in Spain and this car is very clean and dry although obviously i appreciate water can penetrate anything if given the opportunity.
im not getting multiple alarms and the Autel dongle im using only hints to lost communication with entertainment system.
Looking for advice on next moves, i cant find where R1 is fed from
im retired but Electrical engineering by trade.
