Morning all, I have a 2007 2.4 90 with about 75K on the clock, over the last year its had injectors, an EGR valve, both intercooler hoses, air flow sensor, starter motor, glow plugs, fuel valve, relief valve, parking switch for wipers and rear shock absorbers!
Have had various fault codes which resulted in the EGR being changed, power would be lost but would reset when the engine started again.
Now no fault code but still losing power, only seems to happen when hot, no fault codes, doesn't reset when the engine is restarted. Engine temperature has been monitored with diagnostic tuner whilst driving and show temperature is fine. Oil speckles on under side of bonnet, traction control light has flashed on for no reason a couple of times too (May not be linked).
Been in the garage for weeks now, any ideas?

Difficult to say without fault codes. Oil speckles could be from the turbo oil feed/drain pipes, and possible turbo fault = loss of power. Just a guess but have a look in that area.

When you had the injectors done, were they coded / programmed into the ECU? new ones must be properly integrated otherwise the engine will not run properly.

Yes, all done by a Landrover specialist. They are stumped too. With no faults apparent changing out electrical components seem to be the only way forward.

It sounds similar to my problem where i brings up a overboost problem and shuts down into limp mode. it will turn off limp mode when you restart the engine. i have yet to find a solution and would be interested to hear how yours is panning out.
