2006 90 XS Drivers door not locking

Evening,

On using the fob to lock the car, the drivers door will open normally using the external handle. Lent on the door, slammed it etc whilst locking, made no difference.

Sat inside, locking by pushing the door lock down, it works perfectly fine.

The barrel of the door is completely stuck, so only want to secure the car was lock the drivers door internally, clamber out of the back and then set the alarm.

Any ideas on why the door isn’t locking by using the fob?

Just checked, both front doors will open when locking the car using the key fob

Broken wire in the harness that goes from the door to the bulkhead?

Door cards off today, cleaned up the mechanism and disconnected the drivers door lock barrel from the actuator as the barrel is seized and was adding load onto the actuator movement.

Fixed the problem intermittently. After a few operations of the door, problem reoccurred. Going to replace the drivers side actuator and test again.
