It was cold this morning 29F and my battery was dead. I jumped the car and when it started I got a HDC, ABS error that won't clear with my RSW diagnostic tool. Please advise.
Andy, this dude is in Sunny California....All as your man Saint says and sometimes running it through the clearing faults procedure a few times can fix it, although 4 is a few I guess.
If it was mine, and i wouldn't recommend using it with abs inactive in the current weather situation, I would be using it for a bit to see if it clears.
I had an ABS sensor fault that kept putting my brakes on if i tried to move and also gave EAS, HDC, ABS inactive bongs of doom and I kept clearing and driving it slowly and clearing it and then it gave in and shut up and has not been back in years.
