Hi Guys i am a begginner here on landyzone so hi to everyone.
i have just purchased a L322 v8 petrol range rover 2004 which has all the problems that they have, one being that if the battery is disconected when it is reconected the engine will crank over but will not fire and run ? any one had the same problem?

Hi and Welcome,

I remember my old P38 '97 HSE, when you disconnected the battery you needed to enter the EKA code to sync the key to the car and immobiliser....

Not sure if it the same with the L322.....look in the manual it may tell you in there.

Have fun, let us know how you get on.
Anthony.

I can't say for definate but it shouldn't be affected by taking the battery on and off. I've swapped my battery over about three times in a month when i first got my L322 because of a battery drain and it started fine when the battery was reconnected.

Not sure about the V8 though, mine's a TD6 but can't see it being much different from that point of view. Might be worth pulling the fuel pump fuse/relay and re inserting? but don't hold me to that, I'm no mechanic.
