2004 Defender traction control

Hi guys hoping to get some advice. I've got a 2004 Defender 110 Xtreme so it has the lame traction control. For some reason it comes on when I hit a bump even lightly. Its getting a little annoying.

Anyone know how to turn off the traction control or if I cant turn it off make it less sensitive?

Is the traction control actually engaging when you hit the bubs or is the little light flickering or coming on?

Yep its coming on for about 10 seconds. The light comes on and I can hear a mechanical noise?
