L322 2003 TD6 Speaker Buzzing Noise

Hi,

I recently bought an L322 2003 TD6 however there is a buzzing noise from the rear of the car, when you unplug the rear AMP (XQK000030) it stops but when you plug it back in again it starts, radio works and you can turn it up louder than the buzzing noise but still annoying.

Any ideas?

Standard answer, water ingress in the rear nearside quarter, damp in the modules and/or corroded connectors.

I opened the AMP and there is literally no sign of water damage, it looks fine!

Have you checked the connectors for corrosion? Hard to see sometimes

Atleast he’s not hearing demonic voices in the static Yet. Them are the worst.

I had them all the way to Wigan today when I took the wife to work on the post run. Strangely they stopped when she got out

Whip the rear panel off and check her for dampness, she could be in need of a good service

Just ordered 5L of 5w 40 and some rubber gloves. Lets see what happens

Make sure you prime her up first, seems like forever but it’s only ten minute job
