2002 RR L322 Deaded Battery Drain

RR 4.4 Vogue petrol 2002 -Here we go again - overnight total battery drain - two new batteries later I took out the satnav but to no avail. I don't think it's an outside force waking it up as I'm miles from anywhere. Goes for a week or more then flat. What do I check next ? Is it easy to unplug the RF receiver and where is it? Great car but I'm loosing sleep over this one............

I finally found out what it was - it's the HVAC Fan staying on - to be more precise, coming on and off after you leave the vehicle having taken the keys out of the ignition. The answer was to replace the resister relay ( part No. JG0000021 ) which sits right up under the dashboard - take the panels off above and to the side of the pedals (right hand side ) and it's away up under the dashboard. A bit of a fiddle but solves the problem.
